The Bdc operates using a “No Wrong Door” concept. This means if we don’t have an answer to your question, we will refer you to a partner who does.
See our list of Partners who also serve as the Upper Coastal Plain Rural Entrepreneurial Network or REN. The REN was a spin-off of a statewide training program entitled Energizing Entrepreneurship in 2005 lead by The Rural Center.
The REN comes together to brainstorm and strategize ways to increase awareness of all of the free small business resources available on a local and statewide basis. Some of the events coordinated to bring like-minded entrepreneurs together include small business resource fairs, small business appreciation day and speed-networking events. This referral network of service providers is available on a one-on-one basis. They are committed to information-sharing and common approaches to small business development and growth.
